Michael Wolsh
Michael Wolsh works with Short Legal Group, where his practice focuses on providing contract and transactional support to SaaS providers, small businesses, and other growing companies. He regularly reviews and negotiates master service agreements, sales contracts, privacy and data processing agreements, and non-disclosure agreements, helping clients manage contractual risk while keeping deals moving efficiently.
Michael enjoys working closely with business owners and management teams to understand their goals and tailor his advice to fit their operational needs. Drawing on his background in tax, regulatory compliance, and corporate law, he brings a comprehensive perspective to matters involving company structure, ownership, and transactions.
Michael has focused primarily on contracts and business matters for the past decade. Prior to this work, he served with the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine on policy and regulatory issues and practiced at a leading estate and tax planning firm in the Washington, D.C. area. He earned both his Juris Doctor and Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center and graduated magna cum laude from UMBC with degrees in Political Science and Psychology.
