Maureen Bunn

Maureen Bunn is an attorney at Short Legal Group, where she delivers strategic, businessfocused legal counsel informed by her background in both law and finance. Before joining the firm, she spent more than a decade as a Financial Planner at Ayco, a Goldman Sachs Company, advising highnetworth individuals and corporate executives on complex financial planning and wealth management.

Maureen earned her J.D. from Chapman University Fowler School of Law. She serves clients across the technology sector—from early-stage startups to established companies—and often acts as outside general counsel to small and midsized businesses. Her practice includes negotiating and drafting technology agreements, including SaaS and licensing contracts, NDAs, and vendor service agreements, as well as advising on corporate compliance, intellectual property, data privacy, and risk management.
